- What can I expect on my first visit?
When you first step through the doors of a Burke Williams Spa, you’ll find an elegant oasis where you can escape the demands of every day life.
We encourage you to arrive an hour or so early to enjoy the spa before your treatment. Once you check in at the front desk, we’ll give you your locker key and lead you on a guided tour of the spa facility. There are separate spa areas and quiet rooms for men and women, along with a co-ed lounge. As part of your spa experience, we invite you to take pleasure in the amenities, including whirlpools, saunas, showers, and cool mist rooms. Robes, towels and sandals, are provided and vanity areas are equipped with hair dryers, facial and spa products, and more. Swimsuits are optional in the spa areas.
After you’ve enjoyed the spa amenities, your therapist will meet you in the lounge where you are welcome to enjoy an assortment of flavored waters, teas, and fresh fruit. He or she will escort you to your treatment room where you’ll have a moment to settle in, and then unwind with your treatment. Our nail care rooms have multiple chairs, but all other treatment rooms are private.
Please note that at Burke Williams we are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable, professional service that meets only the highest standards of the industry. It is our goal to create and maintain an environment in which both our guests and our employees always feel respected, valued, and safe. Our massage therapists are trained to ensure that every guest is properly and modestly draped at all times throughout his or her massage. Massage is not performed on the breasts, stomach, buttocks, or inner thighs.
Once your spa treatments are finished, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. This is, after all, your retreat from reality. We encourage you to use the spa amenities, rest in the quiet room, or enjoy the lounge. You may check-out at the front desk at your leisure.
- Do I need to be a member to visit Burke Williams?
Memberships are not required to enjoy a Burke Williams visit, but members do enjoy extended benefits. We invite you to request additional information from the Burke Williams location of your choice or visit the Membership page on our website for more information.
- Are reservations required?
Yes. Reservations are required to receive spa treatments. Reservations can be made by clicking here or by calling 1-866-BEYOND-5.
- What is your age policy?
Spa guests must be at least 18 years of age. Those aged 13 through 17 are eligible to receive facial treatments and nail care only, and must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian at least 25 years of age. Guests under the age of 18 may not enter or use the spa facilities.
- What should I bring with me when I visit the spa?
You will need a valid form of identification (driver’s license or passport) to check in at Burke Williams. Towels, robes, slippers, and a variety of toiletries are all provided. We also provide blow dryers, curling irons, and straightening irons for your convenience. Swimsuits are not required in our spa areas, but we do suggest that you bring one if you would feel more comfortable. When you arrive at Burke Williams, you will be given a locker. However, we do suggest that you leave any valuables or jewelry at home.
- How much time should I allow for my appointment?
To fully enjoy all of our spa amenities, we recommend arriving at least an hour before your scheduled appointment time. Two hours would be even better. However, if you are unable to take that much time out of your day, we recommend you arrive at least a half hour prior to your appointment time. This will give you time to check in and change so that you can meet your therapist in our lounge area on time. After your appointment is over, you are welcome to return to our spa area, Quiet Room, or lounge, and enjoy our facilities for as long as you would like.
- Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. Gift certificates can be purchased via our website, in person at all of our locations, or by calling 1-866-BEYOND-5.
- Can I just use the spa amenities at Burke Williams?
All guests receiving a service of $75 or more are invited to enjoy our spa amenities for as long as they like before or after their treatments. These complimentary amenities include our whirlpool, steam room, sauna, showers and fully appointed vanity area. Spa use without a minimum service is available in most locations Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays, for a $75 entrance fee. Reservations required. Spa use without a service is not available in any location Friday through Sunday.
- Can I bring alcohol to Burke Williams?
In order to insure the safety of all of our guests, alcohol is not permitted in our spas. (If you are planning a special event, please contact our Group Events department or speak with a Spa General Manager to learn more about special accommodations that can be made for your group.)
- What’s your cancellation policy?
At Burke Williams, we have reserved your appointment especially for you. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation with regard to cancellation. If you have scheduled 1 or 2 hours of appointment time and find that you must cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled time. If you have scheduled 3 to 5 hours of appointment time and find that you must cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express account numbers will be taken for all appointments. If appointments are not canceled within the designated time, your account will be charged in full.
